CHILDCARE |
Infants to Age 5 will be cared for by an experienced church
member with high school helpers to read to the children and play
quiet games. There will be crafts, coloring, music and toddler toys.
Parents, please bring bottles, diapers, wipes, and snacks to avoid
any allergy problems. No other food will be provided so parents must
pick up their children for meals.
The fee will be $100 for the entire 4 days, $125 for the four days
plus only two special nursery times (infants to age 5), or $8 an
hour. Add the total amount due to your adult registration form.
Hours are as follows:
Sunday - 6/26: 12:45 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
Monday - 6/27: 7:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.; 1:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.;
6:00 - 10:00 p.m. - nursery only (infants to age 5)
Tuesday - 6/28: 7:45 a.m.- 12:15 p.m.; 2:15 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.;
6:30p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - nursery only (infants to age 5)
Wednesday - 6/29: 7:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.; 1:45 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Children and Youth Age 6 - 16
Various activities will be provided with church volunteers acting as
drivers and chaperones. Parental permission and medical release
forms must be completed on site (including insurance information)
prior to 1st scheduled departure. Parents will need to drop off and
pick up their children at the Burgundy Room (subject to change) of
the Kansas City Marriott Downtown Hotel where childcare will be
provided.
Sunday: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - We will take time to get to
know your children and do a tour of the hotel and grounds. This may
include a walk around the area to preview some of the sights
available downtown. We will walk to the nearby McDonald's Restaurant
and dinner will be provided.
Monday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - We will be going to the
Kansas City Zoo. Please wear appropriate footwear and take money for
souvenirs, snacks and drinks. Lunch will be provided. If the weather
is rainy, a trip to local museums of interest to children will be
our alternate activity.
Tuesday: 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - We’ll take a trip to Union
Station. Activities there will include the interactive Science
Center, IMAX Theatre and other events. Additional spending money may
be sent. Lunch will be provided.
Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. We will spend the day at
World's of Fun Theme Park. Lunch will be provided. You may want to
send money with the children for souvenirs and extra snacks. We will
come back to clean-up and then go for pizza during the evening
session at a nearby restaurant at 6:00 p.m.

If you choose to have your child eat with the adults, please refer
to adult registration form. Dinner is not provided with childcare on
Monday or Tuesday evenings.
Cost for the 4 days is $125, which includes transportation, meals
mentioned above, and all the costs for the above activities. Add the
total amount due per child to your adult registration. Come ready
for fun and adventure, but please leave personal toys and games
behind. We will not be responsible for any lost items. ADVANCED
