Afterschool Program

The Bread of Life Christian Mission was founded in 1993 to respond to the needs of low-income families in the area.   The majority of the families are migrant farm workers who do not benefit from opportunitiesinthe community because of language barriers.   The Mission has served thousands of families since they first opened their doors to the community by stressing education and training as a means of improving impoverished lifestyles. The focus of the Mission is to win souls for Christ through the many social services they offer that are designed to serve the physical, material, and spiritual needs of individuals or families.

This program is for students in grades K-5th who are torn between the culture barriers of the migrant community.   The Bread of Life plants seeds into their young life, so they can grow up and be effective citizens to their community.

The purpose of the Emergency Assistance Program is to offer people going through an emergency situation as opportunity to receive the blessings of food and clothing, to hear the Good News of Salvation, and to learn about other opportunities available in the community to improve their socioeconomic status.
