Happy Life Children’s Home
Nairobi, Kenya

The Mission of Happy Life Children’s Home is to provide the abandoned children of Kenya a home and a hope for adoption.
“We are overwhelmed as to what the Lord is doing at our small Home on the outskirts of Nairobi. Never did we ever dream that our God would bless us with this opportunity to provide a home and the hope of adoption to these precious abandoned babies. Our dependence is on the Lord to be the architect and the Master Builder. We also depend on each one of you to be wiling laborers in service to the Lord.” U.S. Director, Rev. Jim Powell.
Currently there are 40 abandoned children at Happy Life and another 33children living with their Parents-to-be” awaiting completion of the adoption process. 16 children have been adopted!
The abandonment of babies has reached crisis level. Hospitals around the country are facing the problem daily as mothers walk out of the wards, leaving their babies, and do not return. It is not uncommon for babies to be abandoned in a plastic bag or left in a roadside ditch. These babies often die from hypothermia, dehydration, or illnesses related to their malnutrition. Even when they are found and rescued, there are not enough facilities to properly care for these abandoned babies.
Goals of Happy Life Children’s Home:
-To bring new hope to abandoned children
-To provide the babies with quality caregivers who love the babies and their Lord
-To meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of each child
-To create a “family” atmosphere for the children within the Home and within the church
-To have each child adopted by a Christian family
