IMPORTANT
FINANCIAL
CONFERENCE
How can we best answer the plea from our Churches to (1) limit
the number of financial appeals from the NA? (2) Time whatever
appeals we make to the calendars of our member Churches? (3)
More adequately share the numerous services the National
Association offers? These and other related questions were the
topics of a conference recently funded through our Executive
Committee’s “wish list.” Representatives from Divisions and
Financial Services of the NA met for 24 hours Feb. 2-3. “This
meeting’s goal was to develop an alternative to fundraising that
would address some of the concerns of our churches and help to
ensure the stability and future of the programs we all use and
need which help us in our service to God. We hope to have some
recommendations for the meeting in Kansas City.”
Rev. Alice Murphy, chairperson of the Executive Committee |

GENERAL FUND NEEDS
SUPPORT We are approaching the last quarter of the
Association’s fiscal year, and, as always, (it seems), the
General Operating Fund needs support from our member Churches
and individuals. If you are a leader in the NA and/or in your
Church, please ask your Trustees and Leaders if they have made
sure to send a Fair Share ($10 per active church member) to the
NACCC.
WHERE’S MY
NA NEWS?
If you’re hearing this question from your church leaders, remind
them that the NANews is mailed to every church and to those
individuals who have requested a paper copy. The News is
available to read on-line at www.naccc.org, then highlight
“Publications.” Click on either Current Issue or Archives, to
access the full text. To request a printed copy, call
1.800.262.1620 ext 21, or email naccc@naccc.org.

THE PROVIDENCE FUND
This past summer we received some of the most touching notes
from recipients of the Scholarship Fund which helped them attend
the Annual Meeting on behalf of their Church. The newly-created
Providence Fund will help continue this outreach to our smaller
Churches who simply cannot afford to send delegates to Kansas
City in June. If you would like to contribute please send your
check to the NACCC, and designate it for THE PROVIDENCE FUND.
