A LOCAL PLANNED GIVING PROGRAM CAN HELP YOU AND YOUR CHURCH

Would your church like to begin, or revitalize, a program to develop planned gifts from members to benefit your church? If we “plan ahead,” perhaps members might consider a gift to your church or our National Association to ensure their on-going programs long after the member is there to support them.

Many of our churches have done this and you can obtain confidential information to do it in your community by calling our Financial Service Advisors (see Year Book for listing). They will help you develop gifts though wills, living trusts, gift annuities, deferred gift annuities, pooled income funds, life insurance gifts, real estate, etc. These services were developed for the benefit of individual church members and the local church and can make a great difference to the member and to the local church.

Some personal benefits can include tax deductions, avoidance of capital gains tax, regular guaranteed income, improved income, professional investment—and lasting satisfaction of knowing you are helping in what you believe!

If you are interested in a program, just call one of our Financial Service Advisors in your area!

Special pricing allows our member congregations to get a level one background check for less than half the commercial price - $8.00 each rather than $19.95 (based on date of birth and name); and a level two check, Rapfinity - $10.00 rather than $24.95 each (based on SSN, DOB, name).

Our Christian Heritage

The great English Congregationalist R. W. Dale reminds of a fundamental underpinning for those who exercise responsibility/authority in the Church:

“In the Church the will of Christ is supreme. If it has rulers, they must rule in His name and by His appointment; and their power must come, not from the Church, but from Him. In electing its officers the Church acts, not for itself, but for Christ. It appoints the men [sic.] whom he has chosen, and it appoints them to exercise an authority which He has.”
