churches which are growing faster than traditional ones in the
country…A box outside the Maidstone Church (Cong’l) in England
allows people of the local community to leave prayer
requests…Plymouth Church, Minneapolis, has an “inclusion
ministry” team whose mission is to eliminate barriers to
participation in Church activities for people who are
differently-disabled…FCC, Mansfield’s youth had a cookie walk
during the holidays to raise money to help them attend the NAPF
meeting in Kansas City in June…FCC, Royal Oak, has started a
poets society called “Voices”. Adults are bringing in their
favorite poetry and reading and discussing it…. Mt Hope,
Livonia, sent out their recent newsletter with an insert
entitled “Stewardship,” published by Parish in New Canaan, CT.

has a freezer (in the furnace room) full of casseroles, for
anyone who wants to pick one up during the holidays. The
suggested price is marked and all you have to do is pay “Leah”

fund-raiser?...FCC, Rockwood, has had a series of wonderful
dinners and programs recently. One featured an after-dinner
concert by Rev. Cynthia Bacon, soprano and pastor of Heritage
