Lenten Devotionals
“Whoever Loses His Life Will Preserve It,” the 2005 devotional publications for Lent, are now available from the NACCC office for $1.00 plus shipping. These devotions, based on Luke 17:33, are written by retired ministers, and compiled by the Church Services Commission. A New Helpful Service for Our Churches
The Executive Committee has recently approved referrals to Rapsheets, a company that does background checks for church volunteers and staff. Special pricing allows our member congregations to get a level one background check for less than half the commercial price - $8.00 each rather than $19.95 (based on date of birth and name); and a level two check, Rapfinity - $10.00 rather than $24.95 each (based on SSN, DOB, name). Contact Robert May (1.888.277.9287, ext. 121), or directly at 901.261.2787. Or, by email at rmay@rapsheets.com. In the near future there will also be a link to Rapsheets via www.naccc.org, the NA website.

One Great Hour of Sharing
The One Great Hour of Sharing Fund is used to bring emergency relief to victims of natural disasters such as floods, famine, and other situations of emergency both in the United States and around the world.

Currently, the Missionary Society is accepting One Great Hour of Sharing Funds for Tsunami disaster relief. Our mission located in Southern India, the Travancore Church Council, was affected by the Tsunami. A church, belonging to the Council was severely damaged. In nearby fishing villages, hundreds of lives were lost and homes and livelihoods washed away. For more information click here.

Initial OGHS relief efforts will be channeled through our mission in India. Excess funds and donations received for other countries, affected by the disaster, will be sent through the American Red Cross or Church World Service. Donations should be made payable to the NACCC and designated: OGHS Tsunami.

Additionally, churches or individuals who wish to designate funds for a specific country or region may do so by assigning a specific designation to their donation e.g. OGHS Tsunami, Sri Lanka.

Every dollar given to missions – goes to missions. Nothing is withheld for administrative purposes. Send donations to:
