Congregational Church Development (CCD) is pleased to offer a new

Weekend Workshop to our Churches:

"Catching A New Vision For Church Revitalization"

CCD has a new charge to work with our existing churches on revitalization. We are bringing in experts in the field to our Annual Meeting in June with powerful information for our delegates. We are also offering a new workshop of excitement and enthusiasm to help each church with revitalization from within.

In Proverbs we read: "Where there is no vision, the people perish." Perhaps your church is in need of a new vision to move into this new millennium. Rev. Patti Dando Haaheim will come and work with your church to help you catch a new vision for church revitalization and encourage you to keep the Spirit moving. After a weekend with Rev. Patti, the people of Duluth Congregational Church felt positive and energized about their future and had these things to say:

"We feel energized and positive about our future."

"An extraordinary experience revealing not only awareness of our church but of ourselves."

"As Congregationalists, we are empowered individually but need astute leadership and motivation, thank you for yours."

"Thank you for a well designed, prepared and delivered church retreat. You have helped us think much more deeply about our mission (purpose) and what we need to accomplish (vision). You also helped us be more determined and committed to make a difference in our ministries."

CCD, with the help of Rev. Patti, would like to offer this weekend workshop on revitalization to your church. Contact Ruth Mahnke in the NA office (1-800-262-1620) for more information and scheduling. The cost is only the leader's expenses and a freewill donation. We know your church will benefit from this experience.

Lansing 2001 ….. Revitalization
Revitaliztion, re-focus, change …. However you say it, it is a hot topic amongst Congregational churches. Come to Lansing to hear more.

The Roozen Report declared "providing special programs and resources for the revitalization of existing churches" amongst the top three priorities for both lay and clergy leaders. Come to Lansing to learn more.

Jim Griffith of Griffith Coaching and the well-known Church Multiplication Training Center will address our gathered churches and will be available during the meeting to talk with local church and regional association representatives about revitalization programs. Jim has become a valuable resource to Congregational Church Development Division members and to those who are starting new Congregational Churches. He will bring new insights to those who struggle to build God's kingdom in traditional ways.

Come to Lansing with an open mind; leave with revitalized ideas for your church.

Note: CCD, which has added church revitalization to its task of starting new Congregational Churches, sponsors Jim Griffith's presentation.
