YOUTH

NAPF and HOPE Conference

Both conferences will be held at the Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. Those flying to the conference must use the Lansing, Michigan airport. Plan on arriving between 2:00 and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 23 and leaving in the morning of June 27 between 6:00 and 10:00 a.m.

The speaker will be Jessie Smith plus The Harvest Team, a group of college-age students who are committed to ministry through praise and worship, music, and drama.

The NAPF Conference is open to young people that have completed grade 9 up through grade 12. They gather together for fellowship, spiritual growth, small group discussion, praise and worship. This year’s theme is "Dive In." The cost is $280.00 for the conference. The deadline for registration is May 1 to guarantee a spot.

The HOPE Conference is open to young adults that have completed the 12th grade and up through college. The theme of HOPE is "Send Me" and the cost is $280.00.

What Would it be Like to Attend?
There is no way to describe the experience of attending an NAPF or HOPE meeting until you have attended one. The youth must experience it for themselves! Most would describe it as a "mountaintop experience." Within a framework of Fun and Fellowship, youth are challenged to grow spiritually in their Christian faith.

Congregational youth from around the country travel to a college campus or camp-like setting for a 4-day conference. Upon arrival youth begin building friendships as they meet their roommates, their small groups, and the adult leaders. The youth are ready for an experience that compares to none-other.

We have received libraries from retiring or retired pastors. They have been a wonderful resource for our CFTS Fellows. If you are a retired pastor or are about to retire and would like to clear off your bookshelves, this is a wonderful way to accomplish it.

There are two ways you can donate libraries for seminary students. One way is to send the books to the NACCC Office and CFTS will refund the cost of sending them here. Or, you can contact Phil Jackson at 1-800-262-1620 and he can put you in touch with a student that is near you.
