CONGREGATIONAL INVESTMENT TRUST FUND
Did you know that, at the request of many member
churches who wanted help in investing endowment,
building, or other funds, your National Association
established this Fund in 1993? Any member church may use
it. Based upon a “Total Return” concept, it has averaged
9.2% return, even with some ups and downs in
investments,.
Associated Trust Company manages our fund, with
additional supervision by our own Investment Advisory
Committee (5 men who are members of member churches,
active in the investment business, and who volunteer for
our NA). And, because your National Association also
invests its own funds here, the fee or cost is very low.
Each church has an individual account and receives
reports quarterly. Longer term investments are
preferred, but a church can set up specific withdrawals
or other terms.
If your church needs better investment advice and
return, we suggest you look into the possibilities of
this valuable service of your NA! For more information
and a packet of information about the fund, call the NA
office or a member of the Financial Services Committee.
As of June, 2004, 33 churches have invested funds
ranging from $500 to $648,000. Most churches have
invested under $150,000.

THE PROVIDENCE FUND MEANS CARING
Attendees at the Annual Meeting often remark that it
is like a family reunion. We laugh and worship together,
and argue, too. But, some members of our NA family need
your help to attend the Kansas City meeting. Often,
church budgets cannot be stretched enough to send a
delegate. When church representatives are absent, we all
miss the advice and conversation that might have been.
The Providence Fund, originally named for Providence,
RI, the site of the 2004 Annual Meeting, offers grants
so that the NA family can come together. Your church can
lend a hand to a sister church by sending a donation
marked The Providence Fund, to the NA office.
