Christian Mission in the Far East, Inc.
Many of our member churches and individuals have received solicitations from a group identifying itself as CMFE –USA. These mailings have caused some confusion and appear to be an attempt to blur the lines of distinction between Christian Mission in the Far East, Inc., (CMFE, Inc.) and the Christian Mission in the Far East USA (CMFE USA). CMFE, Inc., is an official mission of the Missionary Society. CMFE USA is not endorsed by or associated with the Missionary Society.

The Missionary Society offers thanks to those who have supported CMFE, Inc. in the past and trust that you will continue to do so. We also pray and hope that those who have not supported CMFE, Inc. in the past will consider this viable and valuable mission in your future giving.

MEDICAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
A short-term volunteer mission trip to Mission Mazahua is scheduled for Wednesday, February 13, 2002 to Wednesday, February 20, 2002. The goal of this trip is to make improvements at the Hacienda and Las Rosas to make them handicapped accessible – ramps, paths, enlarged access and benches in bathrooms, etc. Additionally, volunteers will work with the Special Friends at Mazahua in their exercises, sports, handwork, etc. Among the Special Friends are several in wheelchairs, most of who are paraplegics (having use of hands and arms) and one who has cerebral palsy (in a wheelchair plus problems with coordination in hands & arms and speech problems). Several persons utilize crutches for mobility and several friends are deaf-mutes.

Persons with medical backgrounds (physical therapists or related specialists) are encouraged to consider this mission venture. Please contact the mission trip leaders if you are interested:
