MINISTERIAL DEVELOPMENT
by Phil Jackson

AT THE ANNUAL MEETING:

Pastoral Relations Office
Karen Frazzell and Phil Jackson will be staffing the Pastoral Relations Office daily at room 104B. We will have copies of all Church Information Forms (CIF's) for interested clergy to look at, and we will have opportunities for several Pastoral Search Committees to interview interested clergy. Both searching clergy and searching churches need to check in early on Saturday afternoon to make the most of this opportunity.

Pastoral Relations Office Open House
A special open house for Pastoral Search Committees and searching clergy will be held in Room 104B, Saturday at 2:00. Rev. Phil Jackson and his assistant, Karen Frazzell will both be present to help you and answer any questions.

Clergy Family Punchbowl
The traditional Clergy Family Punchbowl will be held Monday evening at 9:00 in the Red Cedar Room. Finger food, assorted sodas and, of course, punch will be available late into the evening in a room with plenty of room to stand or sit and visit. This is a must do for our clergy and their families.

Retired Clergy Luncheon
This annual gathering will be at noon on Monday in the Galaxy Room.

Women in Professional Ministry Luncheon
This annual gathering will be Sunday at noon in the Red Cedar A Room.

NAPF and HOPE Conferences
Please get your reservations in to attend the NAPF and HOPE Conferences, which will be held at the Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan on June 23-27, 2001. Registrations were due on May 1, 2001.

Also, please make sure you register for the Pilgrim Mission Voyage (PMV) if you intend on going.

NEW EIGHTEEN MONTH NACCC DESK PLANNING AND APPOINTMENT CALENDAR
The Division For Ministry will be presenting a new 18-month (June 01 to Dec. 02) appointment and planning calendar at the annual meeting in Lansing. Each member church will be sent a free copy this year and additional copies will be available at the annual meeting for a very reasonable price. We are excited about this new service of the DFM and trust that it will benefit your church.

2001 BOSTON SEMINAR PROMISES TO BE A GREAT SUCCESS!
