THE TEN DOLLAR PLUS CLUB
Issues a Call for Assistance and
Encouragement on Behalf of
Faith Community Church _ Franklin, WI

Dear fellow Congregationalists,

At just two years of age, Faith Community Church of Franklin, Wisconsin, is one of the younger members of the family of Congregational Christian Churches. Like most two-year-olds, we're bursting with energy and need space to grow. We have developed rapidly, under the guiding hand of our shepherd, The Reverend Ardyth K. Johnson. We now have a full range of ministries, but we have no meetinghouse of our own. We need your financial assistance to help us build a church home of our own.

We have had to rent space for our Sunday services and choir rehearsals from a Christian school. We also rent space in a separate building for our church office. This has put a tremendous strain on our financial resources and has limited our activities, including our community outreach programs. Despite these issues, our church is strong and growing! We firmly believe that our prayers for a piece of land to build on will be answered, but local zoning rules and inflated prices rule out any bargains.

We started out with 150 members and have already grown to 199 members. With your financial contributions to Faith Community Church, we will continue to develop into a spiritually strong congregation . . . with a home to call our own representing "The Congregational Way" in the southern Milwaukee area. Please contact our church office at (414) 817-9688 if you have any questions about our church or its needs. Sincerely,

Your friends at Faith Community Church
