A NOTE OF THANKS…

On behalf of all those whom we serve…we thank you for your
generous gift of $2,875.50 from the offering at your conference at
Beneficent church in Providence. Due to Government cutbacks in the
mental health area we lost a large grant, but then unexpected donations such
as yours started to come in. We will be able to continue our level of
service to the poor and homeless. |

HURRICANE RELIEF
The Missionary Society is accepting One Great Hour of Sharing
Funds for victims of recent hurricanes. The One Great Hour of Sharing Fund is
used to bring emergency relief to victims of natural disasters such as floods,
famine, hurricanes, and other situations of emergency both in the United States
and around the world. Donations designated OGHS _ Hurricane Relief will be
forwarded where most needed. Every dollar donated for missions - goes to
missions.

Dr. R. Decker); Tom Richard visited FCC, Kewaunee, WI
(Ordination), FCC, Grand Junction, MI (Anniv) Newton Falls, OH (Anniv);
Port Byron (Anniv); and Clear Lake, IA (Installation). Sue Carter
visited Shopiere Congregational Church
(160th Anniversary). Rev. Patti Dando-Haaheim visited
Colonial Church Edina (Pamela Jensen's Ecclesiastical Council). John
Carson visited Heritage Cong'l, Berea, OH, and FCC, Rochester, WI. Don
Olsen visited Thomas Edison Cong'l, Ft. Meyers, FL; Friendship
Comm., Treasure Island, FL; Olivet Cong'l, Olivet, MI; FCC, Otsego,
MI; Suttons Bay Cong'l, Suttons Bay, MI; Little Stone Church, Mackinac

PROVIDENCE FUND, 2005
Church Services Commission is pleased to announce the continuation of The
Providence Fund for the 2005 Kansas City meeting. Past-Moderator, Don Bentley,
created The Providence Fund in 2003 to provide funds to small churches which
have not sent delegates to the Annual Meeting in past years due to financial
restraints. Delegates from six churches received grants enabling them to attend
the Providence, RI, meeting. Churches and/or individuals who would like to help
sponsor a church are invited to send their gifts, marked "Providence Fund
Grants," to Dan Drea, Financial Manager.
