Please pray for Richard Gossett, the adult son
of Dr. Tom & Sharon Gossett who are the directors of the Indian
Trails Mission. Richard was diagnosed as having Sytemic
Scleroderma, a type of lupus. Without a miracle, doctors have said
that he has less then 24 months to live. He was receiving
experimental treatments, however, because of a recent death the
government has suspended these treatments.
Pray for victims of recent typhoons in the
Philippines. A pastor of the National Association of
Congregational Churches lost his home during the storms. Thousands
are now residing in shelters.
Lisa Cortes of Mission Mazahua, Mexico has
requested prayers for an eleven-year-old Mazahuan girl named
Estella who suffers from a congenital skin condition. Swallowing
food has caused blisters and sores inside her esophagus. Estella's
condition is considered to be terminal. Please pray fervently for
this child.
Please pray for rain and the church in East
Africa as residents face looming famine as a result of a year-long
drought. It is estimated that 23 million people in the region face
a projected serious food shortfall.
