150th ANNIVERSARY
Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims, a
historic Congregational church, will be celebrating the
150th anniversary of The Plymouth
Collection, a hymnal published by Henry Ward Beecher. A
hymn search for text based upon the Covenant of Plymouth Church has begun
(ending Dec 15, 2004) as well as for a setting for the text (Feb 15, 2005 - July 15, 2005). Prizes of $600 will be awarded to each winner. For more
