Relief for Victims of Hurricane Katrina

The Missionary Society is accepting One Great Hour of Sharing Funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Relief funds will be distributed through local churches and associations, sponsored mission projects, the Salvation Army, and Habitat for Humanity.

Donations may be forwarded to: NACCC, P O Box 288, Oak Creek, WI 54154. Checks should be made payable to the NACCC and designated for OGHS – Hurricane Katrina. And every dollar given for missions, goes to missions!


Calendars

Spiral-bound appointment calendars for 2005-2006 are still available from the NACCC office, for $8.00 each. Revised Common Lectionary readings and liturgical colors are provided for each Sunday. Included each month are requests for prayers for specific Missions and State/Regional Associations.


Correction to Written “2005 State of the Association” Report

There is a correction in Dr. Richard’s recent written report on the State of the Association. In it he wrote: In fact, a mere reduction of $20,000 of the cost of the leadership team attendees would result in a $50-$60 cost reduction in registration fees. That figure was actually $24,000 estimate this year and it represents the staff’s time in preparing specially for the Annual Meeting, not the cost of the leadership team’s attendance at the Meeting. The savings per delegate for a full registration is still the same.
