One Great Hour of Sharing
One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) is the NACCC’s crisis relief fund, providing financial assistance to communities impacted by poverty, hunger, sickness, conflict, emergencies, and natural disasters worldwide.
Through the OGHS General Fund and Disaster Funds, the NACCC can provide immediate financial support for relief efforts when crises arise.
- OGHS General Fund: Accepts donations throughout the year so funds are available immediately when a crisis occurs. As these gifts are not designated for a specific disaster, they can be directed wherever they are needed most.
- OGHS Disaster Funds: Created for specific crisis relief efforts. When a disaster or emergency occurs, the Mission or Outreach Ministry Council may establish a designated appeal. Donations to that appeal are used exclusively to support relief efforts related to that crisis.
100% of donations to One Great Hour of Sharing go directly to relief efforts – nothing is withheld for administrative purposes.
Distribution of Funds
The NACCC distributes One Great Hour of Sharing funds through vetted relief organizations that demonstrate credibility, effectiveness, and transparency in their use of funds.
Whenever possible, efforts are made to partner with member churches and mission partners closest to those affected by a crisis.

OGHS General Fund Appeal
Venezuela Earthquake Relief
Powerful twin earthquakes devastated parts of Venezuela in June 2026, causing widespread destruction to homes, churches, schools, and essential infrastructure. Thousands of people have lost their lives, tens of thousands have been injured or displaced, and countless families continue to face the loss of homes, loved ones, and access to essential resources.
Many Venezuelans continue to face the long-term work of recovering from the destruction of homes, buildings, roads, and other critical losses. The scale of the disaster will require significant time, effort, and financial support as communities move from immediate relief toward recovery and rebuilding.
As a result of this need, the Mission and Outreach Ministry Council is gratefully receiving One Great Hour of Sharing donations designated to Venezuela Earthquake Relief. Funds will be distributed to Convoy of Hope, a trusted, vetted organization already on the ground in Venezuela providing emergency relief and recovery assistance.
Nebraska Wildfire Relief
Severe wildfires have had a devastating impact on communities across Nebraska in 2026, burning more than 700,000 acres across western and central Nebraska, destroying homes and other structures, threatening communities, displacing livestock, and forcing residents to evacuate.
The impact on individuals, families, ranchers, farmers, and the broader agricultural community has been staggering. Many Nebraskans continue to face the long-term work of recovering from the loss of homes, fencing, grazing land, livestock resources, and other essential infrastructure. Rebuilding and restoring these resources will take significant time, effort, and financial support.
As a result of this need, the Mission and Outreach Ministry Council is gratefully receiving One Great Hour of Sharing donations designated to Nebraska Wildfire Relief. These funds will be distributed to vetted individuals, organizations, and NACCC mission partners providing aid, as well as NACCC churches that have been impacted.
