In their February newsletter, A Christian Ministry in the National Parks explores what it means to “work,” suggesting that work is more than just a task – it’s a transformation. They share their belief that “work is not merely about completing a job – it’s about offering our gifts to something larger than ourselves. It’s about serving with purpose, even in the hard, unseen moments, knowing that every small act of service, every quiet effort, adds to a light that has the power to change a community.” In that sense, ACMNP works to create spaces where others can truly belong, and they ask you, “How might your work – wherever you are – help create a space where others can belong and grow?”
Their newsletter also shares the recollections of an ACMNP alumni’s experience in the Tetons and a piece in honor of Black History Month highlighting a few of the remarkable African Americans who have worked to preserve and protect God’s creation through their work in the National Park System.
