In addition to emerging relationships with seminaries noted last month, the NACCC partners with other educational entities. One such organization is the Congregational Library & Archives (CLA). The library’s website will orient you to myriad resources for your church.
Collaboration with the Library situates the NACCC in the broader context of Congregationalism – its abiding impact on American culture. This relationship connects us with other ecclesiastical offspring of the tradition, including the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference and United Church of Christ.
Special attention from the Library enhances our shared interests. Two NACCC voices, Laura Hamby and Rev. Dr. Charles Packer, serve on the CLA Board of Directors. Library staff regularly attend the NACCC annual meeting. The Executive Director, Dr. Kyle Roberts, presented and actively participated in the Ministers’ Convocation. We celebrate how this alliance refines our awareness of our distinctive identity.
