In their May 2025 newsletter, Love Worth Sharing, an NACCC Recommended Mission, highlights the dangerous state of daily life in Haiti at the moment, with gang activity continuing to spread despite the efforts of a United Nations contingent. Over 1,600 deaths related to violence have been reported in early 2025, and reports of sexual violence and kidnappings are also escalating.
Love Worth Sharing Administrator Ezechiel shares that despite the extremely dangerous climate in Port-au-Prince, the organization’s four locations are still operating at full strength, with the children and staff continuing to make their way to the programs each week. Additionally, their medical clinic continues to meet the needs of the local people.
They ask for your continued prayers and support, especially for the safety of their staff and the children and families they serve.
