Today, we share an important update from one of our mission partners, A Christian Ministry in the National Parks (ACMNP).
After 14 years of faithful service, Dave Degler has announced his retirement from his role as Co-Executive Director of ACMNP, effective March 30, 2026. Dave and his wife, Dawn, have been a steady, joyful presence within ACMNP, helping shape an organization that is widely known for its unique offering of leadership development, worship experiences, and meaningful ministry within national and state park communities.
Dave has expressed deep gratitude for the thousands of alumni, volunteers, board members, and staff who make the ministry possible. As Dave steps into retirement, and looks forward to new adventures and more time with Dawn, ACMNP’s leadership continues with confidence. Amy Kennedy, who has served with ACMNP for 15 years (including eight as Co-Executive Director), has been named the ministry’s fourth Executive Director, a milestone that reflects both her exceptional leadership and ACMNP’s continued impact.
Dave and Dawn will also celebrate 44 years of ministry this March, a remarkable legacy marked by faithfulness, humility, and love for God’s people.
We wish Dave and Dawn the greatest happiness in their retirement and look forward to supporting ACMNP into the future under Amy’s trusted leadership.
